Holiday Gift Guide 2019

The weather’s getting chillier, maybe it’s even snowed a few times depending on where you live, and beautifully decorated living rooms and dining rooms are starting to pop up all over social media. You know what that means…as hard as it is to believe, the Holiday season is almost here!

Whether you’ve got a long list of friends and family to shop for, or you’re only buying gifts for a few of the most important people this year, I’ve got you covered. I am hoping to put together a few different gift guides to help you with your Christmas shopping this year! Today, we’re starting it off with the perfect gifts for the special girl or guy in your life. Some of these gifts I already own, and others are on my wish list this year. Gifts for Her

1// Picture frame – A girl can never have too many picture frames. Whether it’s for the house or office, this will always be a safe gift. A nice touch is to add a special picture of the two of you.

2// Perfume – This is specifically a perfume by Vera Wang. Another option would be to give her a subscription to ScentBird. For $10 a month, she gets a month’s supply of her choice of perfume. I have like 5 sitting around the house or in different purses and I never run out.

3// NutriBullet – I love this blender for making shakes for breakfast. This is the perfect blender for making individual servings, without too much to clean up. I also love that you can drink it out of the same container you blend it in, so it’s great to just grab and run out the door in the morning.

4// 90 Degree by Reflex leggings – I actually linked the black ones here but there are lots of options for colors. These leggings are the best. Great quality, and super affordable. They would be perfect for working out in, but if you know me, you know I just wear them for lounging around the house.

5// Christmas pajamas – One of the traditions I want to start doing every year is buying a new set of Old Navy Christmas pajamas. They always have a great selection, and are pretty affordable too (I think it’s like $10 each). I linked an Amazon set here, but again you could get these anywhere.

6// Letter board – This is just a basic black version, but you can get these in all colors and sizes. To make it more personal, write a cute message on it for her to read when she opens it.

7// Selfie light for phone – If you’re buying for someone who’s always posting shameless selfies on Insta, this is the perfect gift. She will always have perfect selfie lighting wherever she goes.

8// The Office complete series on DVD – Since they will be taking this show off of Netflix soon, now is the time to make sure you will always be able to binge it no matter what!

9// Cake stand – This wooden cake stand is beautiful and would go great with any kitchen decor. The perfect gift for someone who loves to host and/or bake.

10// Jewelry holder – Great gift for anyone who wears a lot of jewelry and needs a way to keep everything organized! This will hold necklaces, bracelets, and earrings and keep everything from getting tangled or lost.

11// Bracelet – Inspired by a designer brand but much more affordable. This would go great with almost any outfit.

12// Makeup mirror – This mirror is great for putting makeup on. I love that it lights up and it’s portable so you can take it with you wherever you need.

Gifts for Him

1// Yeti mug – Great for taking to work or going camping, or just sitting around the fire pit on a cool night.

2// Whiskey decanter and glasses – For the guy who likes his whiskey and loves entertaining!

3// Warning: Insufficient Memory t-shirt – any funny inside joke t-shirt is a great idea. I bought this shirt for Brent a couple of years ago, and last year bought him a shirt that says “They’re good dogs, Brent” which is another inside joke. Always a good present!

4// Christmas pajamas – Like I said, I like the tradition of buying new Christmas pajamas every year. Last year I bought a similar pair of pants for Brent and didn’t think he would like them at all, but he has actually worn them all year.

5// Chocolates – Ferrero Rochers are always a Christmas tradition in our house.

6// Belt – Always a classy gift, and also nice to give useful gifts.

7// Nintendo Switch – or any other gaming system that your specific guy has had his eye on. If he’s not in the market for a new gaming system, new games or controllers are also a great option!

8// Slippers – This is another item that I think a lot of guys wouldn’t often think to buy for themselves, but may end up loving. Always great for cold winter mornings.

9// Gaming headset – Whether it’s a replacement for an old headset or an upgrade, any guy who’s into gaming would appreciate a new headset. If he’s not into gaming, headphones are another good idea if he enjoys listening to music.

10// Snuggie – I have gotten this gift as a joke before, but Brent actually ended up loving it and uses my Snuggies all of the time. Again, since Brent’s a gamer, this is great for him to use when he’s on his computer since it keeps his arms warm.

11// Jerky or other meat – Whether you buy him the actual meat, or a gift card to a steakhouse or some other restaurant, food is definitely the way to any man’s heart.

12// Cologne – This specific cologne is from Versace, but get him whatever scent or brand you think he will like the best (or whichever you like to smell on him the most!)
