Affordable Clothing Haul: Target and Kohl’s

With a wedding coming up next weekend, I really can’t afford to be buying a bunch of new clothes. So for this week’s post, I decided to find some budget-friendly fashion to share with you guys! Hopefully this will give you some inspiration so that you can feel fun and fashionable without spending too much money.

When I’m trying to find some cute new affordable clothing, the first place I go is Target. They have had some really great brands lately, and I can always find at least a few pieces that I absolutely love. On this day, I was specifically looking for a dress to wear to my family bridal shower. I actually didn’t find any dresses I liked at Target, so I went next door to Kohl’s. I hadn’t bought anything at Kohl’s since high school, but I actually ended up buying three really cute dresses!

Target: All the cute shirts!

You know I had to try on some leopard print. I think it’s funny how much leopard print is in this one picture. It’s a bit of an obsession at this point. I actually didn’t end up buying these pants, but I kind of regret it. They are super cute and comfy, I just thought they were a bit much at the time. But I might go back and buy them later… I did buy the shirt. I like that it’s just a basic black shirt, but the shoulders have a lace detail and the sleeves are a different stretchy material around the wrists down, and I thought that was a really nice touch. This shirt is from A New Day, which is one of my favorite new brands there the past year or so.

This was the only other leopard print item, I promise! And I actually did end up buying this one. It’s also A New Day. I think it will look so cute with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, or even my black slacks that have skinny legs for work. I would also wear a statement necklace with this, as long as it’s not too loud of a necklace.

I have been trying to build up my collection of staple pieces that could be worn a million different ways. This shirt is just a basic, but I love the shade of green. This will be great to wear around the house, or on a day when I am just dressing casual.

Apparently, I have been really into this light pink color lately. Especially with white stripes. I have two other shirts similar to this one that I shared in my Legends haul. This shirt is so comfy too, and would look great with a statement necklace or just a dainty necklace.

Kohl’s haul: All the cute dresses!

This is probably my favorite dress that I found! I love that it’s a high low dress. It’s got a short, fitted skirt underneath, and then the long flowy skirt on top. I wore this to my bridal shower and it was so perfect. Just the right amount of fancy, but still super comfortable. I will say, it was a little awkward sitting in it because if the top layer opened, the bottom layer is a little too short. So I had to tuck the top layer between my knees and keep readjusting so people didn’t see more than they should… But it was totally worth it and I will definitely wear this again.

This is another super cute dress. I have never bought anything off the shoulder like this because I have nothing to hold it up..But this fits so well that I’m not worried about it falling. I love the all over lace detail and the design. It feels so fancy even though it was so cheap! This would be a great wedding guest dress, or just for girls’ night out or date night.

This dress is also really adorable and comfy. It has an elastic waist, so it doesn’t make you look like you’re wearing a bag. The back has a cutout detail that adds a nice touch so it’s not just a simple dress. This dress will be great for church, or just an everyday outfit for work. I plan on wearing a long gray cardigan with it if it’s chilly.

So if you’re broke af like I am but still want to find some cute new clothes, Target and Kohl’s are two great options right now! For all of these items, I paid around $170. $100 of that was for the dresses, a little over $30 each. So not bad at all really! Let me know some of your favorite places to shop for cute clothes on a budget!
