One of my favorite parts of going on a big trip is buying cute new clothes to wear on it! For this trip, I really tried to not spend all of my money on clothes, especially with a wedding coming up to pay for. The best thing about all of these outfits is that they are all super affordable. Most items were from Amazon, and I don’t think anything cost more than $25. Everything was really good quality for the price, and I will definitely wear every piece again!
The first day of the trip was a travel day, and we explored San Francisco. Normally on the plane I would wear yoga pants and a t-shirt, but since I knew we would be exploring the city I dressed up just a little bit with some ripped jeans from Amazon. I wore a size small which are currently sold out but here are the same pants in medium. Overall, great quality. I have these same jeans in a slightly lighter wash too. You can definitely tell that it is cheap material from the feel, but I don’t think they look cheap at all. I also wore a “bride vibes” t-shirt from Etsy which I was also very impressed with! Super good quality and very cute design. I wore some pink sunglasses from Charming Charlie’s that really made me feel like California.
On the second day, we went to wineries. I wore a maxi dress from Amazon and again I was so impressed with the quality. Amazon is killing it lately with their fashion! It comes in lots of colors, and I’m pretty sure you can find it in sleeveless and long-sleeve styles as well. For jewelry I wore a Kendra Scott necklace, earrings from Target (they are also killing it with some of their new brands) and sunglasses from Charming Charlie’s. That night for dinner I wore a tank top from Old Navy and shorts from Maurice’s. Seriously all of my clothes used to be from Maurice’s, it’s definitely my go-to store when I don’t want to online shop.
Day three, again we were just at wineries all day. I wore a romper from Shein. This was my first time buying anything from Shein and I have mixed feelings. But this romper is great! Definitely did have to wear some nude-colored shorts underneath because the material is super see-through and the material feels very cheap, but other than that I love it. I also wore a “bride-to-be” sash from Amazon which is great quality and the glitter doesn’t come off at all. My sandals were on sale for like $12 at JC Penney’s, and so were my sunglasses.
The next day, we went to the ocean in the morning, and then more wineries in the afternoon. This day I wore a shirt from Etsy that says “I said yes,” and the other girls wore shirts that said “We said Napa.” So cute and comfy, and we got compliments all day. Again I just wore my Maurice’s shorts. I also wore a hat for part of the day that said “Bride” and had a veil on the back, and that is from Party City. Definitely looks better in person than it does on the website! My shoes were just basic Old Navy flip flops.
The last day was another travel day, but we spent the morning at Muir Woods and in San Francisco. Again, I wore the jeans from Amazon, and I wore a sweatshirt that I bought at Muir Woods because it was so cold. I don’t want to think about how much I spent on that sweatshirt, but at least it’s cute and comfy.
So those were all my outfits! Again, I don’t think any single item cost more than $25 (other than the Muir Woods sweatshirt). California was interesting to plan for because San Francisco and the coast are chilly (like 50s and 60s), but then Napa Valley is in the 80s. Overall, it was the perfect trip and I loved my outfits each day!
